Besides the announcement on social media, TOMORROW X TOGETHER broke the news in real-time to fans in South Korea during a concert. Per The Korea Herald, group leader Soobin read a hand-written letter to fans at the gig: “I have been eagerly waiting for this moment to come even before our show began and thought about the best way to express our sincere feelings.”

He continued: “In order to keep the promise we made to last longer and further together, all five of us have renewed our contracts as TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Thank you for being with us from our debut up to now, and as we continue into our next tomorrow.”

Just a month before the renewal of their contracts, the group released their latest studio album, ‘The Star Chapter: Together’. In a four-star review of the album, NME‘s Rhian Daly wrote: “Whether subtly or explicitly, as on ‘The Star Chapter: Together’, you can expect TXT to continue to emphasise and explore connection, and use it to form a bright spot in our dark world.”
