Tom DeLonge teases Blink-182 “spring break shows” for 2025

Tom DeLonge has teased that Blink-182 could hit the road for more live shows this spring – see the post below.

The pop-punk trio embarked on a huge world tour across 2023 and 2024 in support of their latest album ‘One More Time…’ – which saw Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus reunite with DeLonge for the first time in a decade.

Last summer, Blink headlined Reading & Leeds 2024 as part of their comeback run ahead of further headline gigs in Belfast, Dublin and Glasgow. Their most recent concert took place in Mexico City in November.

The band currently have just one show scheduled for 2025 – a headline slot at When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas on October 18.

However, DeLonge has hinted that Blink could return to the stage before then in a new post on Instagram.

Captioning an image of himself performing live, he wrote: “@blink182 should we play some spring break shows just for the fuck of it? We are board and want to playyyyy – we miss you fuckers [sic].”

It comes after Hoppus shared another live picture on the platform, along with the caption: “blink-182 forever.” You can check out the uploads here:

Last September, Blink-182 released ‘One More Time… Part-2’ – an expanded version of their 2023 album containing eight brand-new tracks.

In a four-star review of the trio’s Reading 2024 headline performance, NME wrote: “This set marks a long-awaited return for the pop-punk pioneers, and as far as Blink-182 shows go, it is adamantly clear that the members have no intention of letting go of the charm that helped get them to headliner status in the first place.

“Yet, given what they’ve overcome in recent years, their dynamic in 2024 feels more nuanced than ever, and the effortless showmanship on display pushes them beyond the realm of nostalgia into something that will stand the test of time.”

In other news, last month saw DeLonge offer his thoughts on the mysterious drone sightings in New Jersey. Elsewhere, drummer Barker made a guest appearance on Kai Cenat’s record-breaking Twitch stream to play some Blink-182 classics.
