Tiësto and Sexyy Red Link on the High-Octane ‘F1’ Single ‘OMG’

It’s the latest single from the F1 the Movie soundtrack that’s coming out June 27

On Thursday, Tiësto and Sexyy Red released “OMG,” a track from F1 the Album (the soundtrack of F1 the Movie). The two get the party started over thumping club drums and spacey synths. Sexyy begins the track rhyming, “Airplanes on the roof, body get high like a balloon / Hurricane in the room, and they’re like, ‘Oh, my God’” on the chorus. She then follows up with a characteristically braggadocious verse where she raps, “bad bitch so I’m breakin all the rules / pay my own bills, I do what I wanna do,” providing a mission statement for the hordes of women set to dance to the track this summer.

The full F1 the Album project will be available June 27 in tandem with the premiere of the Brad Pitt-starring, Joseph Kosinski-directed Warner Bros. Pictures and Apple Original Films visual. They’ve rolled out the project with weekly single releases starting with Don Tolliver and Doja Cat’s duet “Lose My Mind.” Since then, they’ve dropped “Just Keep Watching” with Tate McRae, “No Room For A Saint” with Dom Dolla and Nathan Nicholson, “Messy” with Rosé, “Bad As I Used To Be” with Chris Stapleton, and “Baja California” with Mike Towers.

The 17-track album features other music stars such as Ed Sheeran, Raye, Burna Boy, Roddy Ricch, Madison Beer, and Peggy Gou. It was crafted by Atlantic Records West Coast President Kevin Weaver, who’s also behind Barbie the Album and Twisters: The Album.

The film chronicles Pitt as “Sonny Hayes,” a racer who comes out of retirement to assist his friend Ruben Cervantes (played by Javier Bardem) with his racing team, Apex Grand Prix. Damson Idris plays Joshua “Noah” Pearce, a rookie racer with whom Pitt will compete.
