Argentina is officially the only country from Latin America still standing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Led by soccer star Lionel Messi, the South American team is one of the eight headed to the quarterfinals, alongside France, Morocco, Spain, Belgium, Norway, England and Switzerland.
Celebrating its run in the month-long match that kicked off June 11 and wraps July 19 with the final match taking place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Billboard curated the ultimate World Cup playlist for Argentine fans.
The list features 20 songs that are powered by patriotism, pride and lots of love for fútbol, including the all-time anthem “Muchachos, Ahora Nos Volvimos a Ilusionar” made popular by La Mosca for the 2022 World Cup. Powered by a blend of ska, rock and pop, laced with tango, the song was confirmed by Messi to be one of his favorite bops.
Moreover, Luck Ra—a former Billboard Latin Artist on the Rise—has proven to be quite the hincha (term that describes a sports aficionado) with a few soccer songs under his belt.
His latest, “El Último Baile” with Un Poco de Ruido and Juan Portella, has a fast-paced cuarteto sound fused with the country’s traditional tango; it’s dedicated to Messi, who will presumably be playing his last game at the 2026 World Cup.
Other Argentine anthems in the playlist include vibrant songs from Bizarrap, Trueno, Nathy Peluso and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, to name a few. Just in time for the Argentina vs. Switzerland match on Saturday, July 11, check out the 25-song playlist:
