The Pretty Reckless announce new album ‘Dear God’ with thrashy single ‘When I Wake Up’ and details of 2026 UK, European and North American tour

The Pretty Reckless have announced their new album ‘Dear God’ with the thrashy lead single ‘When I Wake Up’ – listen below.

The New York band, led by Taylor Momsen, will release their fifth studio album via Fearless Records on June 26 and you can pre-order your copy here.

The record will include their 2025 single ‘For I Am Death’, and now they have shared the latest teaser in the form of the ‘When I Wake Up’ single, a raw, punk flavoured slice of powerhouse alt-rock.

Speaking about the new single, Momsen has said: “‘When I Wake Up’ is the story of a dream becoming a nightmare. When a life of excess leads you on a rollercoaster that is doomed to crash but you just can’t see it. It’s a good time…”
