The Human League announce summer 2025 UK outdoor show tour

The Human League have announced a 2025 summer tour of outdoor venues in the UK – see the full list of dates below.

The synth-pop greats will play a string of 11 shows around the country in June, July and August next year, kicking off at Southampton’s Guildhall Square on June 26.

The dates include a stint at Kew Gardens on July 9 and finally wrap at Darlington’s Northern Echo Arena on August 24. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday (December 6) and you can find yours here.

Support at the shows will come from Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey and Blancmange, except for the Llangollen show, which will feature ABC, Big Country, Toyah, T’Pau, The Christians and Altered Images.

JULY 2025

26 – Dundee, Slessor Gardens

AUGUST 2025
24 – Darlington, Northern Echo Arena

The new dates follow on from the group’s upcoming dates around the UK this month, with support from Sophie Ellis-Bextor and T’Pau. The tour starts on Thursday (December 5) at Cardiff’s Utilita Arena and runs until a show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on December 14. The band formed in Sheffield in 1977 and achieved huge success in the ’80s with hits including ‘Don’t You Want Me’, ‘Mirror Man’ and ‘Tell Me When.’ They won a BRIT Award for Breakthrough Artist in 1982.

Lead singer Philip Oakey has been the group’s consistent member since 1977 while keyboard players Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh both left the band to form Heaven 17. The Human League now consists of Oakey and long-serving vocalists Joanne Catherall and Susan Anne Sulley.
