The Flaming Lips share missing notice for member Steven Drozd’s daughter

The Flaming Lips have shared a missing person notice for Charlotte “Bowie” Drozd, daughter of band member Steven Drozd.

16-year-old Drozd was last seen at the Seattle Space Needle on Saturday, October 5 at 11.30 am, and has been described as 5’7” with brown eyes and long brown hair. She was seen wearing khaki colour shorts and pink shoes, according to a post made by the Seattle Police Department.

Her family and friends have asked anyone who may have seen her or have any information about her whereabouts to come forward.

Fans of the band have been sharing their support under the post, with one user commenting “I am so sorry to hear this I hope they find her soon,” and another adding “Praying she is found safely.”

Over on Reddit, fans are sharing the post on the Seattle and Indie Music forums, urging anyone with information on Drozd’s whereabouts to come forward.

Steven Drozd joined The Flaming Lips in 1991 as a drummer but has been playing other instruments for the band since 1999. He has two children including 16-year-old Charlotte “Bowie” Drozd.
