The new wave four-piece, performing as a trio since Keith Strickland stepped back from touring in 2013, began their residency in 2023, and are set to continue the run of shows with five more nights at The Venetian Theatre between April 11 and 19, following their final 2024 dates there later this month. There’s also a show in their hometown of Athens, Georgia, on December 14.

The artist presale begins tomorrow (November 13) at 10am PT (6pm GMT) with the code ‘LOVESHACK25’, while Live Nation presale begins on Thursday (November 14) at 10am PT (6pm GMT) with the code ‘BEATS’.

General sale opens the following day (November 14) at 10am PT (6pm GMT) – get tickets here.

The residency caps off the band’s ‘Farewell Tour’, which began in 2022 and has seen them take in a variety of the biggest cities in the US. In 2019, they embarked on a summer farewell tour of the UK.

Meanwhile, singer Kate Pierson, released her second solo album, ‘Radios and Rainbows’, back in September.

In January, frontman Fred Schneider spoke to NME about the band breaking through to the mainstream with their 1989 hit ‘Love Shack’. He said: “It was just a happy accident that ‘Love Shack’ finally became a hit, and now you have to go to every damn wedding and hear it! Whenever I hear a bad version of ‘Love Shack’ being performed, I’ll say: ‘Look, do you mind if I sing it?’ If someone’s ruining the song on karaoke, I’ll get up there! The singer is in shock – but everyone else appreciates it because the other person stank.”

He also discussed the band’s outspoken comments on anti-transgender legislation in the US, saying: “We don’t care. You can say whatever you want about me online – I’m not going to see it, because I don’t read any of that. I know when I’m good, and I know when I’m bad and if we’re doing something good like this, you’re not going to affect me. I just know that you’re a rotten person if you don’t like it.”
