Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” rules the Billboard Hot 100 for a 10th week, becoming the first of her 13 career No. 1s to top the chart for double-digit weeks.
The song is from Swift’s album The Life of a Showgirl, which has posted 12 weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart. Notably, the set becomes just the fifth ever to lead the Billboard 200 for 10 or more weeks and spin off a single that has likewise topped the Hot 100 for at least that long.
Elsewhere, Djo earns his first Hot 100 top 10, as “End of Beginning” jumps 16-6; it originally reached No. 11 in March 2024. Djo is the musical performing name of Joe Keery, of Netflix’s Stranger Things, with the song surging in the wake of the series’ recent finale.

The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the lattermost metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; digital singles sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from chart calculations. (The latest chart reflects the first week of newly updated weighting of on-demand streams.) All charts (dated Jan. 17, 2026) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow, Jan. 13. Double Double-Digit Domination
“The Fate of Ophelia” claims its 10th week at No. 1 on the Hot 100 after parent album The Life of a Showgirl, on Republic, has tallied 12 weeks atop the Billboard 200. The LP becomes only the fifth to top the Billboard 200 for 10 or more weeks and generate a single that has likewise led the Hot 100 for at least that long.
Here’s a rundown of the elite albums to achieve the feat — with Santana’s Supernatural the only title on the list to yield two 10-week-plus No. 1s.
- Taylor Swift, The Life of a Showgirl, 12 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 / “The Fate of Ophelia,” 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 (2025-26)
- Morgan Wallen, One Thing at a Time, 19 weeks / “Last Night,” 16 weeks (2023-24)
- Adele, 25, 10 weeks / “Hello,” 10 weeks (2015-16)
- Santana, Supernatural, 12 weeks / “Smooth,” feat. Rob Thomas, 12 weeks & “Maria Maria,” feat. The Product G&B, 10 weeks (1999-2000)
- Whitney Houston, The Bodyguard soundtrack, 20 weeks / “I Will Always Love You,” 14 weeks (1992-93)

‘Beginning’ of Djo in Top 10
Djo scores his first Hot 100 top 10, as “End of Beginning” soars 16-6, topping its prior No. 11 peak in March 2024. It bounded by 92% to 19.1 million streams, 52% to 4.4 million in radio reach and 175% to 6,000 sold in the tracking week.
The solo self-written, and co-produced, single by the musical nom de plume of Joe Keery, of Netflix’s Stranger Things, reentered the Hot 100 a week earlier following the Dec. 31 premiere of the series’ finale (although the song is not heard in the episode).
“End of Beginning” concurrently crowns Streaming Songs and the multimetric Hot Rock & Alternative Songs charts for the first time. It’s also the first leader on the surveys, and highest-charting title to date on the Hot 100 (and second top 10), for the AWAL group.
Meanwhile, the song is the second to hit the Hot 100’s top 10 thanks to a tie-in to Stranger Things, which is set in the ‘80s: In 2022, Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” reached the region and rose to No. 3; it originally hit No. 30 in 1985. The alt classic scored a synch in the series’ fourth season.

Rest of Top 10: ‘Ordinary’ & More
Alex Warren’s “Ordinary,” which topped the Hot 100 for 10 weeks starting last May, rises 3-2. It logs a 25th week at No. 1 on Radio Songs (71.4 million, up 5%).
HUNTR/X’s “Golden,” from Netflix’s smash movie KPop Demon Hunters, dips 2-3 on the Hot 100, after eight weeks at No. 1 beginning last August.
Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” is steady at its No. 4 Hot 100 high, while Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” holds at its No. 5 best as it leads the Hot Country Songs chart for a seventh week.
Kehlani’s “Folded” backtracks to No. 7 from its No. 6 Hot 100 high, as it tops the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot R&B Songs charts for a fifth week each.
Rounding out the Hot 100’s top 10, Sombr’s “Back to Friends” falls to No. 8 from its No. 7 peak; Taylor Swift’s “Opalite” slips 8-9, after hitting No. 2; and Leon Thomas walks “Mutt” 9-10 after it reached No. 6.
