‘Taylor Swift: The End Of An Era’: every guest appearance in the show

Taylor Swift: The End Of An Era is here, but what other artists feature in the show? Find out below.

The first two episodes of the pop megastar’s six-part series debuted on Disney+ on Friday (December 12), with further instalments set to arrive in pairs on December 19 and 26.

The show chronicles Swift’s record-smashing 149-date tour, which launched in March 2023 and concluded with a show in Vancouver last December, grossing over $2billion through ticket sales.

Swift has said: “It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”

Also released on Friday was Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour – The Final Show, a concert film made up of the entire ‘Tortured Poets Department’ set from the final Vancouver show.

In a three-star review of the series, NME wrote: “There’s a great documentary to be made about The Eras Tour, but it’s probably an unofficial one exploring the unique sense of community it fostered among the singer’s fanbase. “It’s like Woodstock without the drugs,” one commentator notes here, entirely without shade. For now, though, The End Of An Era is solid content for Swifties wanting to relive the tour’s huge collective dopamine hit.”

Given the starry nature of The Eras Tour, it is no surprise that there are some big name artists who make showings in The End Of An Era.

In episode one, Ed Sheeran appears backstage during a segment in London as he prepares to join Swift on stage as a surprise guest in August 2024. They rehearse a medley of their past collaborations, including ‘Everything Has Changed’ and ‘End Game’, as well as a portion of Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud’. Sheeran and Swift discuss their nerves and provide mutual support for each other during a difficult time following the cancellation of Swift’s three Vienna shows due to a foiled terror attack plot.

Florence Welch is part of episode two, with footage of her preparing to join Swift on stage for a surprise performance of ‘Florida!!’ in London. The behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage shows Welch learning the choreography with Swift and her dancers, and using the stage lift for the first time. She also appears as a talking head discussing her reflections on the appearance.

Remaining episodes are expected to include appearances from Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter.

The show also includes a candid moment in which Swift cries as she discusses the impact of the Southport stabbing attack.
