Taylor Swift, Caitlin Clark Watch Chiefs Win at Arrowhead Stadium

Pop star invited Indiana Fever star to join her in her suite on Saturday

Taylor Swift invited WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark to Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, where they cheered on Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce as he and his Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans 23-14 in the divisional round of the playoffs.

The 22-year-old basketball phenom and pop star were seen in her suite, where they chatted and hugged after Kelce caught a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Earlier in the game, they celebrated after Kelce made a 49-yard reception, marking the longest postseason reception of his career.

Clark, who is a lifelong Chiefs fan, is also a huge Swiftie, as she revealed in her Athlete of the Year profile for Time. She told the outlet she attended two back-to-back Eras Tour concerts at Lucas Oil Stadium in November 2024. She met both Swift’s mother and Kelce at those shows. Afterward, Swift gifted Clark several bags of Eras Tour merch, which came with a note that said how “inspiring” she is. Swift then invited Clark to join her for a Chiefs game.

Earlier this month, Clark who hails from Des Moines, Iowa, discussed her Chiefs fandom on brothers Jason and Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights. “My dad was a big Chiefs fan growing up. People think I’m a bandwagon Chiefs fan, and I’m like, I was [a fan] before Patrick [Mahomes] and Travis were on the team,” she said, via KCTV. “We’ve been big fans, and all the success you guys have had has made it a lot of fun.”

With Saturday’s win, the Chiefs advance to the AFC Championship Game for the seventh straight season.
