SXSW Adds Jack’s Mannequin, Sunflower Bean, and More to Lineup

The Austin festival will also feature speakers David Duchovny, Chelsea Clinton, and Marc Maron

SXSW has announced a third round of artists who will be performing at the festival in Austin, Texas this year. The 2025 event will include Jack’s Mannequin, Sunflower Bean, and Holy Fuck, who have performed at SXSW in the past, along with newcomers like Mexico’s alt-maverick NSQK, J-Pop boy band PSYCHIC FEVER, rapper Samara Cyn, and more.

Earlier, this week, the festival also shared some of its keynote speakers: The roster includes John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bluesky CEO Jay Graber. Other featured speakers who attendees can catch at the event will be David Duchovny, Chelsea Clinton, and Marc Maron, among others.

Back in October, SXSW had shared the first wave of more than 100 acts who would be heading to Austin for the festival, scheduled for March 10 to 15.; a second announcement came in December. Some of the major names who will be taking the stage include Big Freedia, Twin Shadow, and Yasmin Williams.

“The momentum continues to build with our third reveal,” James Minor, VP of Music Festival at SXSW, said in a statement. “Each act lends a unique and dynamic voice to the lineup, with both new and established artists from around the world creating a real sense of anticipation for the March event.”

(Full disclosure: In 2021, Rolling Stone’s parent company, P-MRC, acquired a 50 percent stake in the SXSW festival.)
