Round of a fan army face-off is closed and there’s some major upsets, let’s break down round two. Sabrina Carpenter upset NewJeans to move on against GloRilla next, but she’s not the only female rapper who’s fans helped their fave. Nicki Minaj took out Tyla, Cardi B bested Zach Bryan, Megan moves on from ATEEZ and the 2022 winners Stray Kids fell to Ice Spice. Those weren’t the only surprising victories. Kendrick may be on top with “Not Like Us,” but Drake beat him out to take on Taylor Swift next round. And country made a big splash. Shaboozey bested Gaga, Jelly Roll steamrolled Sexyy Red and Lainey Wilson narrowly edged out BTS.
