Suki Waterhouse Celebrates ‘Memoir of Sparklemuffin’ by Dropping 12 More Tracks From It

“Things happened to me, but I’m also the hero of my own story,” she told Rolling Stone last year

Welcome to the (extended) world of the Sparklemuffin. On Friday, Suki Waterhouse revisited her album Memoir of a Sparklemuffin and released a deluxe edition of the record featuring 12 additional tracks, including single “The Bellboy (One Last Crush)” and several live recordings.

Along with the 18 singles on the original version, the singer added previously released songs “Dream Woman” and “On This Love,” along with tracks such as “So Close,” “Mother,” and “Everything You Feared.”

The album closes with three additional live recordings from Brooklyn Paramount in New York, including renditions of “Good Looking” and “My Fun,” and a cover of “Yeah! Oh, Yeah!” with Stephin Merritt of the Magnetic Fields. The deluxe edition also features new album artwork of a close-up of Waterhouse’s face with a spider crawling out of her mouth and her elongated eyelashes in the shape of an arachnid.

The expanded version of the album comes as she’s set to continue the album’s tour in Europe this summer, including at several festivals, before opening for Laufey on her North American arena tour in the United States.

“I didn’t feel like I owned my story at all or any of the stuff that happened to me,” Waterhouse told Rolling Stone upon Sparklemuffin‘s release. “It’s the first time I’m thinking about this out loud, but being a little older … It’s entirely mine. And things happened to me, but I’m also the hero of my own story.”
