The trailer and release date for the concert film Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience.
Directed by Paul Dugdale (Adele: One Night Only, Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour), the film was shot during the group’s sold out performances at the SoFi Stadium in California, and will feature behind-the-scenes footage as well as performances.
The movie will be shown in cinemas and IMAX screen from February 6, and tickets can be found here.
The press release for the film states: “With more than 30million albums sold worldwide and a fanbase that spans every continent, Stray Kids will provide fans with a bold, large-scale theatre experience, allowing them to see a glimpse behind the curtain of their favourite band during their recent ‘DominATE’ world tour.”
The first trailer for the film has also been released, and can be seen below. The clip features energetic concert performances, as well as the group discussing the importance of music and the fans in their lives.
“At a time like this, when there’s so much darkness” Bang Chan says in the video, “I do the best I can to be the light for everyone else.” The Dominate World Tour ran from August 2024 to July 2025, with Stray Kids playing 56 dates across five continents.
Speaking to NME in 2024, member Felix said the group’s fanbase, nicknamed the Stays, connected with them as they anticipated the next live performance. “During the times when we couldn’t see our fans up close, I think that’s one of the reasons why our Stays became so close to us and bonded with us,” he said.
“It’s been so long since we’ve seen our Stays, so just taking this opportunity, them just being able to see us, is really meaningful.”
