Stevie Nicks has announced eight additional dates for her upcoming North American tour later this year – see the full list below.
In April, the former Fleetwood Mac singer and songwriter confirmed that she would be playing across the US and Canada with an original run of nine dates in August and October.
Now, the tour has been extended, with a show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on August 8 now set to kick off the string of dates. Extra shows have also been added in Hollywood, Florida and Detroit in September, as well as Portland, Sacramento, Atlantic City, Charlotte and Hartford in October.

A press release at the time of the original announcement indicated that “Nicks will continue to enchant audiences with her unmistakable voice, poetic lyrics and transcendent live performances” at the gigs.
She had been due to play some shows with Billy Joel this summer, but the singer-songwriter has been forced to cancel all of his upcoming tour dates following a diagnosis with the brain disorder normal pressure hydrocephalus.
In April, Nicks revealed she was working on her first new album in 14 years. Speaking at the Pollstar Hall of Fame, she described the prospective record as “the ‘Ghost’ record because it just kind of happened in the last couple of weeks”.
“I have seven songs and they are autobiographical, real stories where I’m not pulling any punches for probably the first time in my life,” she continued. “They’re not airy-fairy songs that you’re wondering who they’re about, but you really don’t get it. They are real stories, memories of mine, of fantastic men.”
Last September, she released a powerful new single called ‘The Lighthouse’ – inspired by the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade. She later performed the track on Saturday Night Live, marking her first appearance on the show in 41 years.
In other news, Fleetwood Mac have announced a “fully authorised” and “definitive” documentary to chronicle the history of the band. The feature-length film is being directed by Frank Marshall for Apple Original Films and Apple TV+.
