The rapper’s performance at the match between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings at Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, will be streamed live on Netflix on December 25.

“NFL, Netflix and your uncle Snoop on Christmas Day? We’re servin’ up music, love and good vibes for the whole world to enjoy,” Snoop said in a statement. “That’s the kind of holiday magic Santa can’t fit in a bag.”

Billed as ‘Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party’, the show will feature special guests and Snoop’s biggest hits.

The NFL Christmas Gameday between the Lions and Vikings kicks off at 4:30pm ET (9:30pm GMT).

“Christmas Gameday just got a whole lot cooler. We’re uniting two global cultural juggernauts, the NFL and the one and only Snoop Dogg, who will drop the hottest halftime show,” said Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, in a statement. “As a West Coast girl and huge fan myself, I can confidently say this is the ultimate gift we could give our members. We’re ready to drop it like it’s hot this holiday celebration!”

Last year, Beyoncé headlined the NFL’s Christmas-day Halftime Show in Houston, Texas, where she performed songs from ‘Cowboy Carter’ live for the first time.

Following the conclusion of the Christmas-day game – which was live-streamed on Netflix – Beyoncé’s complete performance was shared on Netflix as a standalone special dubbed Beyoncé Bowl.

During the set, which ran for under 13 minutes, Queen Bey was joined by the likes of Post Malone, Shaboozey, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer and Tiera Kennedy. Her eldest daughter Blue Ivy Carter also joined along to dance to ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’.

To kick off the Halftime performance – which fans are calling “the best Super Bowl performance of all time and it wasn’t even the Super Bowl” – Beyoncé performed ’16 Carriages’. Other songs she performed included ‘Blackbird’, ‘YA YA’, ‘My House’, ‘Jolene’ and more. She was joined by Shaboozey for ‘Sweet Honey Buckiin”.
