Snoop Dogg Pokes Fun at Bill Belichick’s Age Gap With 24-Year-Old Girlfriend: See Their Reactions

Snoop Dogg was dropping jokes like they were hot at the NFL Honors Thursday (Feb. 6), but one of them in particular — lobbed at Bill Belichick and the coach’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson — packed extra heat.

During the rapper’s opening monologue at the pre-Super Bowl award ceremony, which he hosted, Snoop got the crowd squirming when he highlighted the age difference between the 72-year-old former New England Patriots leader and his 24-year-old partner. “I’ve been a football fan for a long, long time,” Snoop began. “I mean, I remember back when the Cowboys was good. I remember back when the Chiefs was bad … Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet!”

At that, cameras cut to Belichick and Hudson, whose jaw dropped with shock as the crowd at Saenger Theater in New Orleans both groaned and roared with laughter. The coach — who now leads the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s football team — simply smiled and gave a small eye roll.

Perhaps suspecting that he had gotten away with as much as he would be able to joke-wise that evening, Snoop made the Belichick dig his last bit of the monologue and proceeded to introduce Shaboozey and Odell Beckham Jr. as the presenters of the first award of the show. Before that, though, he also cracked jokes about the last two NFL teams standing this year — “It’s going to be an incredible Super Bowl between the Eagles and the refs” — and gently roasted all-star attendees Josh Allen, Sam Darnold and Joe Burrow.

The NFL Honors gig comes as the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” musician is still facing backlash from fans for performing at Donald Trump’s Crypto Ball during the inauguration in January. Snoop hasn’t said much about his choice to do so, but he did recently appear to address the negative response by saying in an Instagram video, “For all the hate I’m going to answer with love.”

“Get your life right, stop worrying about mine,” he continued at the time. “I’m cool. I’m together. Still a Black man. Still 100 percent Black. All out ’til you ball out or ’til you fall out.”
