The Smashing Pumpkins‘ Billy Corgan has announced his new podcast The Magnificent Others, which is set for release next week.

The podcast will launch on Wednesday, February 5 via Bill Maher’s Club Random Studios. It will be available to watch via the official The Magnificent Others YouTube channel and on streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. You can subscribe to the YouTube channel here.

The Magnificent Others will feature weekly conversations with various guests including the likes of KISS‘ Gene Simmons, Corey Feldman, Sam Moore (Sam & Dave), Richie Sambora
(Bon Jovi), Carnie Wilson (Wilson Phillips), Tom Morello, Pat Benatar and Neil Geraldo.

It will see Corgan and his guests dive into in-depth and candid conversations about the layers of success as well as explore the triumphs, challenges, and pivotal moments that shaped their journeys and defined their paths.

“The Magnificent Others is a long-form show where we explore with great artists musicians, anybody I truly admire and take you into their inner story about how they got to be so great,” Corgan said in the trailer of the podcast.

He continued: “Look, we’ve all heard great interviews from great artists, we hear the war stories, we are here to figure out what made them great and what keeps them great. We want to hear fresh stories, we want to hear fresh perspectives, we want to understand the times from their individuated perspectives, join me on The Maginificent Others, a very curious and one-of-a-kind exploration of these great minds.”

In other news, Bill Burr recently expressed his displeasure at a surprise meeting with Corgan, whom it’s claimed could be his half-brother while appearing as a guest on Howie Mandel’s Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast.

Recently, Corgan took to his Instagram account to share footage from the Los Angeles wildfires, saying: “The fires touch every strata of society” and commending first responders who fought the blaze.
