Sleep Token share mysterious new sheet music online – this is what it sounds like

Sleep Token have been hinting at new material by sharing sheet music online. Check out what it sounds like below.

Fans began to notice the new cryptic updates earlier this month and yesterday (February 26) a podcast called State Of The Scene posted on X, sharing the news that the masked metal group have been pointing fans in the direction of a private Instagram account called @featheredhost.

This account currently has over 1,000 followers and it was soon revealed to be one of two accounts the band made. The second is called @houseveridian and has a similar number of followers.

Soon, things started to unravel when fans came forward to reveal that they had been given access to sheet music that is tied to Sleep Token.

As per a discussion on Reddit, a fan said that they had received an email from an account called ‘Feathered Host’ which had the subject line: “Have you been waiting long for me?”. When they opened the email and clicked on the graphic, it took them to the Instagram page.

Replies shared that they had received a similar email from an account called House Veridian, which brought them to the other Instagram account.

Each account has just one post, and both show two different pieces of sheet music. In an attempt to work out what the music sounds like – and if it could indicate new music from Sleep Token – fans have been uploading videos of them playing the sheet music to social media. Check out some of the clips below.

It comes after Sleep Token have begun hinting at new material in recent days. Last week the band shared a new TikTok page and one of the new posts took fans to a website called showmehowtodanceforever.com.

Initially, fans had to solve a puzzle to be granted access but this has now been removed in a new update. Now when visiting the page, the two graphics seen in the emails are shown and fans are urged to “choose your allegiance” by picking one.

The suggestions of a new era for the band come as frontman Vessel and co. are set to headline Download Festival in June. Meanwhile, drummer II is set to appear at Black Sabbath’s final show in Birmingham in July.

The latter will take place in Birmingham and see the metal pioneers perform alongside Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Lamb Of God, Mastodon, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, recent Grammy-winners Gojira and more. Recently, II opened up about performing at Black Sabbath’s final gig, calling it a “reverence and great honour”.

In other news, at the end of last year, Sleep Token’s mysterious masked vocalist Vessel took some time out during their gig at the O2 Arena to play on his Nintendo Switch console.
