A Skrillex B2B set with Jamie xx has been added to the line-up for this year’s LIDO Festival in London in June.
The brand new two-weekend festival is heading to the capital’s Victoria Park from June 6 to 7 and June 13 to 15, with individual days to be headlined by Massive Attack, Jamie xx, Turnstile, Charli XCX and London Grammar.
It had already been confirmed that the Jamie xx-curated date at the festival on Saturday 7 June would include a B2B with Nia Archives, and now the line-up has been expanded to also include a B2B set that will see the producer also perform opposite Skrillex.
It joins previously announced performers Arca, Panda Bear, Sampha and Romy, as well as other B2Bs with Shy FX and Tim Reaper, as well as Todd Edwards and Bullet Tooth. Jamie xx is also bringing his celebrated club residency ‘The Floor’ to Victoria Park, holding a one-off festival showcase with a three-hour set from DJ Harvey.

Speaking about his headline show at LIDO, Jamie xx has said: “It’s always an exciting prospect playing in my home town. Having done The Floor and Alexandra Palace this year, it’s time for something else! I’m really looking forward to headlining Victoria Park, curating my own day festival and performing alongside my favourite artists.”
The announcement that Jamie xx would be headlining LIDO follows his latest studio album ‘In Waves’ last September, his first solo full-length since 2015’s ‘In Colour’.
In a four-star review of ‘In Waves’, NME called the LP “an even more melancholic record than its predecessor – and a less immediately exciting one, too.”
As for LIDO, news of the new festival was shared in October, and it was confirmed that it will be run by AEG Presents, who also organise All Points East, BST Hyde Park and Forwards. It also said it is looking to “showcase the most current headliners and work closely with them to curate the line-ups, reflecting their own musical passions, with a strong focus on emerging artists.”
Charli XCX’s ‘Party Girl’ curated line-up for her date at LIDO will include performances from The Japanese House, The Dare, 070 Shake, Kelly Lee Owens and A. G. Cook.
