SiriusXM has named Jenny Tartikoff the company’s new senior vp and head of communications, effective on Monday, Aug. 10. She will report to Scott Greenstein, the company’s president and chief content officer. In her new role, Tartikoff will oversee SiriusXM’s content and serve as an advisor to its leadership team.
Tartikoff joins SiriusXM from Paramount Pictures, where she served as executive vp of global communications. Prior to that, she was head of content and advertising communications at Spotify and had been senior vp of global communications at Universal Filmed Entertainment Group. At the beginning of her career, she worked in communication for broadcast journalism, working at NBC News.
“Jenny is an accomplished communications leader with the judgment, range and industry experience to help SiriusXM tell a clear and compelling story, anchored around making SiriusXM the definitive home for audio content and fandom,” Greenstein said in a statement. “Jenny’s experience across entertainment, streaming, podcasting and advertising makes her the right leader to guide our communications into the next phase of SiriusXM’s strategy across our portfolio of audio businesses, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to the team.”
Tartikoff added, “SiriusXM brings together an extraordinary mix of brands, platforms, talent and technology, with a unique ability to connect fans with music, voices, stories and cultural moments they care about. As a longtime listener, I’ve experienced firsthand the thoughtful curation and authentic experiences SiriusXM creates, which makes joining the company especially meaningful. I’m excited to partner with the leadership team and communications organization to help shape and amplify the company’s story with purpose and impact.”

Andrew Kautz Launches Kautz & Associates

Image Credit: Courtesy Andrew Kautz, who most recently served as president of strategy and operations for HYBE’s label service, has launched his own Nashville-based consulting firm, Kautz & Associates. He had been Scott Borchetta’s first hire at Big Machine, and helped oversee the company’s acquisition by Ithaca Holdings in 2019 and HYBE in 2021.
“I’m opening a bespoke consulting practice, advising a small number of hand-selected private clients as they navigate not only the music industry but the ever-changing opportunities and challenges that technology and progress present,” Kautz said in a statement. “This isn’t a firm built for volume — it’s built for depth.”
He continues, “The music business has never been more complex, and it has never been more full of opportunity. The next decade of this industry will be shaped as much by technology as by talent. That counsel extends to the decisions leaders are facing right now. At Kautz & Associates, clients are labels, founders and investors, as well as artists and their teams. All of them get the same thing: my full attention. I look forward to helping a select few make the most of it.”

Allen Mitchell Launches Reverie Ranch Music Group
Allen Mitchell has launched a new management company, Reverie Ranch Music Group. The company will also provide recording and publishing opportunities. Mitchell had been at the Erv Woolsey Company and served as the management company’s president ahead of its recent closing.
Joining Mitchell in his new venture includes EJ Bernas (artist manager, director of DSPS, satellite and terrestrial radio); Kacey Wright (manager, social and digital marketing) and Josh Halasz (digital content, marketing and strategy).
“Music, especially country music, has been my passion for as long as I can remember,” Mitchell said in a statement. “While I never dreamed of standing in the Opry Circle, I always dreamed of standing in the shadows supporting those who do. As I begin this next chapter, God has blessed me with an incredible team and artists who believe in me as much as I believe in them. ‘Reverie’ is French for ‘to dream’ or ‘to lose yourself in a daydream,’ and that’s always been who I am — a dreamer. None of this would have been possible without my dear friend and mentor, Erv Woolsey, who believed in this dreamer early on. I’m incredibly grateful for the past and excited for what’s ahead.”
The company’s artist roster includes Miachel Ray, Leo33, Jenna Paulette and Adam Hood.
