Lorde shared some of the photos from the shoot to her Instagram, which alerted many of her followers to the fact that her medicine cabinet contents were on full display. Let’s face it: Whether you’re a beauty nerd or not, it’s cool to get a firsthand look at what the singer is doing to prep for all of the press stops, not to mention the potential tour, that will come with the July 2025 drop of her new album, Virgin.
In addition to the beauty products below, Lorde’s medicine cabinet also contained essentials such as cotton swabs and a French pharmacy cream called Homeoplasmine, which is used to moisturize and soothe irritation. There were also skincare products that spanned a lot of different brands and price ranges, including Tower 28, Davines, Aesop and even K18.
We have taken a good, long look at the photo and pulled together every container that we could recognize. For some items, such as the Vilhelm Parfumerie fragrance, we couldn’t quite see the exact scent that she chose, but the bottle is undeniably from this brand. We have also added in a little detail about some of the brands that you may not recognize, just to give you a quick brief on their background lore.
Shop everything we saw in Lorde’s medicine cabinet below.
Sofie Pavitt Mandelic Clearing Serum
This serum uses mandelic acid, which may help even skin tone and reduce the appearance of skin texture and scarring. It also contains hyaluronic acid to help keep the skin from feeling dry.
NuFace Conductor Gel
This is actually a serum gel that’s meant to be applied before using the NuFace micro-current device. The gel itself is supposed to be moisturizing as well.
Tower28 Sunny Days Tinted Moisturizer
This tinted moisturizer is available in 17 colors and packed with mineral SPF 30 sunscreen. It’s non-comedogenic, to help avoid clogging your pores, and it offers buildable light to medium coverage.
Davines OI All in One Milk
Packed with roucou oil, spray this on wet or damp hair after washing for more nourished strands.
Iris & Romeo Skin Oats
Available in 12 shades, this offers dewy coverage and SPF 30 protection. It’s also packed with hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and lots of other skin-saving ingredients.
K18 Hair Repair Mask
This repair mask is used in lieu of conditioner on damp hair after getting out of the shower. Apply it from root to tip and then proceed with styling as normal. The brand recommends doing this for the first four to five washes, and then switching to only doing it when needed.
Aesop Spray Deodorant
The brand is known for its great scents, and this spray deodorant is sure to keep you feeling (and smelling!) fresh.
Emma Lewisham SPF 50 cream
This lotion can be used day and night to moisturize skin and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It uses bakuchiol as a natural alternative to retinol that may help prevent aging.
Kate Somerville DeliKate™ Recovery Cream
This is a gentle daily moisturizer packed with peptides and ginger root, all of which help relieve redness and inflammation while nourishing the skin.
Vilhelm Parfumerie
We’re not positive exactly which scent was in her medicine cabinet, but it was definitely from this brand.
