Sex Pistols and Frank Carter Reschedule ‘Never Mind the Bollocks’ Tour

The Sex Pistols and Frank Carter will return to the road this fall, announcing a slew of make-up dates after they were forced to delay a 2025 tour.

The North American run will kick off Sept. 11 at the Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas and wrap Oct. 18 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The itinerary includes a bunch of rescheduled shows — though some at new venues — as well as a handful of new dates. Additional concerts are expected to be announced, too.

Tickets for all shows will go on sale this Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m. local time. In most cases, tickets purchased for the original 2025 shows will still be honored at the make-up dates, though fans are encouraged to check with their point-of-purchase and venue to be sure.

The Sex Pistols and Carter were set to hit the road last fall, but postponed the trek just a few weeks before it was slated to begin after guitarist Steve Jones broke his wrist. While the injury was severe enough to warrant the postponement, Jones assured fans, “Good news is the surgeon said I will be playing guitar in the not-too-distant future.”

This reunited Sex Pistols lineup features three original members of the punk pioneers — Jones, bassist Glen Matlock, and drummer Paul Cook. Carter, who’s best known for fronting the hardcore band Gallows, was enlisted to fill in for original vocalist Johnny Rotten. (The singer, real name John Lydon, has been feuding with his old bandmates for years and has disparaged their reunion efforts.)

The Sex Pistols and Carter were able to play a bunch of U.K. shows last year before their North and South American runs were postponed. The shows have found the band performing the Sex Pistols’ 1977 album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols, in its entirety, along with other tracks from the group’s catalog.
