Seventeen Will Bring ‘New_’ Tour to U.S. Amid Four Members’ Military Service

Seventeen is bringing its “New_ World Tour” to the United States this fall. On Monday, the K-pop group announced its plan to tour the United States, even as four of its members complete their military service in Korea.

The shows will see the group kick off the U.S, run at the Tacoma Dome in Washington on Oct. 11 before heading to Los Angeles, Austin, Miami, and D.C. Tickets will go on sale for fan members on Aug. 5 at 3 p.m. before a general on-sale time of Aug. 6 at 3 p.m. local time.

The title of the tour “signals a bold new chapter” for the group, with the underscore in its title leaving “an open space to be reinvented,” according to a press release from the group.

The messaging seems to align with what the 13-member group — S.Coups, Joshua, Jun, Jeonghan, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, Mingyu, The 8, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino — told The Hollywood Reporter about their plans, as nine of the 13 members are required to enlist in the military to complete their mandatory service.

“This is something that has been inevitable for us all along,” Hoshi said in the late May interview. “We have been prepared. We have a lot of projects that we have discussed with [Hybe] very thoroughly up until now.”

“We are ready to reinvent ourselves,” S.Coups added. “We are standing at a new starting line, preparing for a new path ahead and ready to blaze a new trail.”

Absent from this upcoming tour will be Jeonghan, who enlisted in the Korean military last September, Wonwoo, who enlisted in April 2025, and both Hoshi and Woozi, who are expected to enlist in September.
