See Jelly Roll Clash With Logan Paul on WWE ‘Smackdown’

Jelly Roll returned to the WWE ring Friday at the Smackdown event in his hometown of Nashville, where the singer clashed with Logan Paul.

Nearly a year after making his official wrestling debut at SummerSlam 2024, Jelly Roll again took the WWE stage at the Bridgestone Arena to perform his song “Liar,” which has become an unofficial anthem for the wrestling company after the singer performed it at the SummerSlam event.

However, after Jelly Roll made his way to the ring to sing the track, the performance was hijacked by Logan Paul, who then went on a long tirade about the singer’s place in the WWE. “Listen Jelly, this ring is sacred… you belong on a stage, not a WWE ring,” Paul told him.

“You know what I’m disgusted by: Celebrities, influencers, personalities, whatever you want to classify this as, coming in to our industry, leeching off of our success, on a platform we have built. Brother, clout chasers like you disgust me… The WWE doesn’t need a Jelly Roll, the WWE needs a Logan Paul.”

Jelly Roll retorted, “You must not completely understand where you are, Logan Paul. This is my hometown, Nashville, Tennessee. Just so we’re clear, down here, nobody gives a damn about your podcast, Logan.”

As Jelly and Paul talked it out in the ring, actual wrestler Randy Orton made his way down the catwalk to lambast the “outsider” Paul. Orton then entered the ring and was about to teach Paul a lesson when wrestler Drew McIntyre suddenly appeared to jump-kick Orton.

McIntyre was then escorted from the ring, at which point Paul started beating down on the fallen Orton. Thankfully, Jelly Roll was there to save the day, coming to Orton’s rescue by peeling Paul off of him.

The whole ordeal seems to hint that Jelly Roll will make his official return as a wrestler and face off against Paul at the upcoming SummerSlam, scheduled for August 2 and 3 at East Rutherford, New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.
