Sabrina Carpenter reveals full ‘Man’s Best Friend’ tracklist with the help of fans and a puppy

Sabrina Carpenter has unveiled the full tracklist for her upcoming album ‘Man’s Best Friend‘ – check it out below.

The singer’s seventh studio album is set for release on August 29, and so far, she’s shared the “song of the summer”, ‘Manchild‘, as its lead single. Now, she’s revealed the full tracklist, having enlisted her fans and a puppy to help share the song titles over the past few days.

She began unveiling song names on July 23 on her Instagram fan page @teamsabrina, and has since used the account to share images of fans, alongside a Golden Retriever puppy, a nod to the album’s title, sitting on a director’s chair emblazoned with different titles.

Yesterday (August 1), she revealed the final track herself, writing: “Thank you to all my beautiful perfect fans that helped me reveal the tracklist for Man’s Best Friend,” Carpenter wrote. “The final track reveal is… track #2 ‘Tears.’ Can’t believe the album will be in your ears in exactly 4 weeks.”

Alongside a photo of herself posing with the puppy, she also shared the full track list written on a wine-stained napkin.

Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Man’s Best Friend’ tracklist is:

1. ‘Manchild’
2. ‘Tears’
3. ‘My Man on Willpower’
4. ‘Sugar Talking’
5. ‘We Almost Broke Up Again Last Night’
6. ‘Nobody’s Son’
7. ‘Never Getting Laid’
8. ‘When did you get hot?’
9. ‘Go Go Juice’
10. ‘Don’t worry, I’ll make you worry’
11. ‘House Tour’
12. ‘Goodbye’

Carpenter has already shared an alternate album cover “approved by God” for her new album, following accusations of sexism over the album’s original artwork. The album, due to arrive in late August, features a cover with the singer kneeling on the floor, as an unidentified person stands beside her and pulls on her hair.

Some have criticised the cover as leaning on “tired tropes that reduce women to pets”, and Carpenter has responded saying: “I can not give a fuck about it”. The new cover sees her clutching a man’s arm instead.

Sabrina Carpenter’s previous album ‘Short n’ Sweet’ scored a four-star review from NME, with Rhian Daly writing: “For the most part, who Sabrina Carpenter is has never been clearer – and her long-awaited, hard-earned climb to pop’s summit should continue with ease.”

Elsewhere, she recently brought out Duran Duran for ‘Hungry Like The Wolf’ at her second BST Hyde Park concert.
