Rosalía has spoken about her experience so far of working on HBO’s Euphoria, her first foray into acting, calling it “really inspiring”.

Speaking at the Met Gala with live stream hosts Teyana Taylor and Ego Nwodim, the singer spoke about what its been like working on the show so far and how she has been finding it.
“This is my first job, eh? Well, I’m learning, I’m figuring it out,” she said. “I’m trying not to forget my lines, but it’s been really inspiring being beside these amazing actors and actresses. My first time, figuring it out, trying to have fun with it, play around, improvise.”
The Catalan singer was confirmed to be a new addition to the cast in February, as the show’s official social media shared a picture of her in her role, details of which have not yet been disclosed.
Back in March, while speaking to Variety at their post-Oscars party about her involvement in Euphoria, Rosalía said: “Well, you know, it’s happening. It’s the first time that I do something like that, and I’m very excited, you know, I’m learning and I’m very grateful
“I’ve always been a huge fan, so it (ended) up happening. I always put it in the air, and it ends up happening”. Finally, in answer to a question about whether filming had begun, she said: “We’ve started, yeah”.

Season three of Euphoria will have a total of eight episodes and is likely to arrive in 2026. 2014 Super Bowl winner Marshawn Lynch will also be joining the cast, which will see the return of regular cast members Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Dominic Fike, Alexa Demi and Maude Apatow.
Recently it was announced that big screen legend Sharon Stone had been added to the show, for which the star said she was “honoured”.
HBO‘s executive vice president and Head of Drama Francesca Orsi hinted that season three would likely mark the end of the hit teen drama series. She said that the door’s still being left open for a potential continuation, but that season three is expected to be Euphoria‘s last: “We’ve talked about it, I don’t think anything is over until it’s over, but it’s been discussed that this is the end.”
In other Euphoria-related news, Eric Dane, who plays Cal Jacobs in the show, has revealed that he has been diagnosed with ALS disease. The actor broke the news in an exclusive chat with PEOPLE magazine, but kept his statement brief. He told the outlet: “I have been diagnosed with ALS. I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter.”
Last month, he said he is scheduled to return to work for the third season Euphoria: “I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to set of Euphoria next week. I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time.”
