Rosalía Says ‘Euphoria’ Is Her ‘First Job’: I’m ‘Trying Not to Forget My Lines’

“It’s been very inspiring to be with these amazing actors,” the Spanish star said

When it comes to her first acting gig, Rosalía is just trying her best. During a Met Gala red carpet interview with Vogue Monday, the musician teased her series debut in Season Three of Euphoria, joking that she’s just “trying to not forget my lines.”

“It’s my first job. I’m learning. I’m figuring it out,” she told livestream co-hosts Teyana Taylor and Ego Nwodim. “It’s been very inspiring to be with these amazing actors. It’s great.”

The Spanish star’s new comments come as fans spotted the singer filming scenes for the show with Alexa Demie. Rosalía was seen wearing a fur coat and a neck brace alongside the Euphoria cast member. Another clip last month captured the pair riding in a classic convertible.

“If there’s anything that excites me as much as creating a good melody or writing a great lyric, it’s becoming a better performer every day,” Rosalía said in a press statement in February about joining the cast. “Euphoria has been my favorite series over the last few years and I couldn’t be happier and more grateful to be acting alongside all of these incredibly talented people that I admire so much and contributing my ‘granito de arena’ to bring Sam [Levinson’s] vision to reality to make magic. I can’t wait to share what we’re doing!!!”

While Season Three will see her acting debut in the series, Rosalía has contributed to the soundtrack of the show, thanks to “Lo Vas a Olvidar,” her duet with Billie Eilish, which was included in a special episode of the HBO show, “Part 2: Jules.”

In a separate Met Gala interview, the musician also teased the arrival of new music, telling reporters in Spanish that “there are some little things that are coming… Something will come… We will see. I really want to tell you more, but we need to let time pass a bit.”
