The historic West Village venue will host six exclusive interviews and intimate performances this year

Get ready — Rolling Stone is introducing the Rolling Stone Residency, an exclusive series of interviews and performances that will take place at the West Village’s iconic Cherry Lane Theatre in New York. As part of the magazine’s commitment to creating singular experiences that connect fans with the music and art they love, the residency will include six unforgettable nights of live in-depth conversations and acoustic performances. The first performance kicked off on June 11 with singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, followed by J Balvin on July 9, and now, Vince Staples will take the stage on Oct.10.

“The Rolling Stone Residency is a true reflection of our core mission and legacy offering fans deeper experiences with artists,” says Rolling Stone CEO Julian Holguin. “Conversation and music have the power to connect people, and this series demonstrates the magic that happens when we collaborate with like-minded artists and partners to deliver extraordinary experiences for fans.”

Each night, at one of New York’s oldest continuously operating off-Broadway theaters, a Rolling Stone editor will continue the magazine’s mission of offering a never-before-seen side of the world’s brightest stars with conversations that illuminate the stories behind who they are and everything they’ve achieved.
