Rock Werchter 2025: Iggy Pop, Underworld and Gracie Abrams lead new line-up additions

Rock Werchter has announced a new run of names set to perform at the 2025 edition, including Iggy Pop, Gracie Abrams and more.

Next year’s instalment of the festival will be held between July 3 and July 6 at Belgium’s Festivalpark Werchter, and mark 50 years since the very first edition.

The first wave of artists were confirmed a few weeks back, with rock heavyweights Linkin Park and Green Day set to headline on the Thursday (3) and Friday (4) days respectively, while Sam Fender and Olivia Rodrigo performing on the main stage as headliners on Saturday (5) and Sunday (6).

For Linkin Park, it marks one of their first festival dates since they announced their comeback earlier this year with Dead Sara’s Emily Armstrong as vocalist and dropped new album ‘From Zero’. For Green Day, it is one of many upcoming shows the punk trio have scheduled for 2025, including a headline show at the UK’s Download Festival.

For Sam Fender, the announcement arrived as he announced his highly anticipated third album ‘People Watching’, and for Olivia Rodrigo it comes on the heels of her massive ‘Guts’ world tour, and makes her the festival’s youngest ever headliner.

Shortly afterwards, more names were added, including Fontaines D.C., Amyl And The Sniffers, RAYE, Girl In Red and Barry Can’t Swim.

Now, the festival has confirmed even more names joining the 2025 edition of Rock Werchter.

Now, Deftones, Iggy Pop and Jacob Collier are the three new names that have been added for the first day of the festival (3), while Underworld, Purple Disco Machine and Mark Ambor have now been confirmed for the Friday.

Over the final two days, Maribou State, Amenra, Blanco White and Goldband have been added to the line-up for the Saturday, while Gracie Abrams, Dean Lewis and GOOSE are the three new names who have been locked in to help close out the final day.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now, and more names are expected to be added to the line-up soon. A new update from organisers shares that one-day tickets for Thursday are sold out, but combi tickets and one-day tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are still available.

Performers lined-up for the 2024 edition of the festival included The Pretenders, Tom Odell and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, joined headliners Dua Lipa and Foo Fighters. Back in 2023, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queens Of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys and Muse performed alongside the likes of Liam Gallagher, Iggy Pop and The 1975.
