Razorlight and The Wombats to play two huge outdoor co-headline shows this summer

Razorlight and The Wombats have teamed up for two huge co-headline shows in the UK. Check out the details below.

The two indie rock icons will be joining forces for two massive outdoor shows later this summer. Both dates are announced as a co-headline affair, and include a slot at Dreamland in Margate.

This gig will be held on Friday August 22, and see the ‘00s indie stars take to the stage as part of the city’s summer series. Support will come from Sunday (1994) & Talk Show, and the gig sees the bands join other previously announced artists including Public Image Ltd (PiL),  The Libertines, Supergrass, Basement Jaxx, Madness and Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter.

The second of the new gigs will see Razorlight and The Wombats head over to North Herts on August 30, for a stop as part of the Hitchin Priory Summer Series. Special guests for this date have yet to be announced, but are set to be confirmed shortly.

“We’re beyond excited to welcome The Wombats and Razorlight for what will be two electrifying nights of indie rock anthems,” said Rob Waller, MD of Soundcrash, in a new statement. “With Dreamland’s iconic setting and the historic grounds of Hitchin Priory as backdrops, combined with two of the most influential bands of the 2000s, these are must-see summer events.”
