Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2025: Wolf Alice, Inhaler, Aitch and more join line-up

Radio 1’s Big Weekend has added more names to its 2025 line-up, including Wolf Alice, Inhaler and Aitch. Check out the details below.

The annual festival is set to take place at Liverpool’s Sefton Park from Friday May 23 to Sunday May 25. Tickets will be available from Thursday (March 13) from 5pm GMT here.

The first wave of artists joining the line-up was announced earlier this year, with a host of acts announced across the weekend, with Sam Fender, Blossoms, Lola Young, Wet Leg and BRITs Rising Star 2025 winner Myles Smith all previously confirmed.

More recently, Tom Grennan was announced as the Friday night headliner, while the likes of Biffy Clyro, Confidence Man, Barry Can’t Swim, Nia Archives, Katy B and The Wombats were also revealed to be on the bill. The line-up for the BBC Introducing Stage has also been revealed, with Crawlers among those performing.

Now, it’s been shared that Artemas, Tom Odell, and AJ Tracey will be joining the likes of Inhaler and Wolf Alice on the line-up for Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2025, with further acts set to be announced in the coming days and weeks.

Last week, Wolf Alice were confirmed to be making an appearance at Glastonbury 2025 alongside headliners Neil Young, The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo and acts including Charli XCX, Biffy Clyro and Noah Kahan from June 27 to 29, fuelling speculation about a potential new album.

Their upcoming Glastonbury performance is now only one of two confirmed live dates of 2025 so far, having wrapped up their ‘Blue Weekend’ tour in 2022 before playing an intimate charity show at London’s Sebright Arms the following September.

BBC Radio 1 will broadcast live from the festival site across the weekend, with performances and tracks available live and on-demand via Radio 1’s iPlayer channel and BBC Sounds.

Liverpool’s Sefton Park previously hosted Blossoms’ historic COVID pilot show in 2021, and additionally, the city staged the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023.

Last year’s Big Weekend took place in Luton, with performances from the likes of Coldplay, Vampire Weekend and RAYE.
