Puddle Of Mudd announce new album ‘Kiss The Machine’ and share single ‘Beautimous’

Puddle Of Mudd have announced their new album ‘Kiss The Machine’ and shared its lead single ‘Beautimous’ – listen below.

The album arrives amid frontman Wes Scantlin’s ongoing legal issues, after he was arrested in California last month and charged with domestic violence and drug possession after an alleged domestic dispute with his partner.

It has not stopped the post-grunge band from sharing details of their upcoming seventh studio album, which will be released on May 2 via Pavement Entertainment – pre-order/pre-save here.

Listen to ‘Beautimous’ here:

Speaking about the album, Scantlin has said: “This album was a moment of clarity – me looking in the mirror. I was there night after night in the studio, learning, recording, pushing myself, and making sure every part of it felt authentic. I’m super proud of how it all came together.”

“I just want people to feel something – to smile, and have some hope in their hearts. Music has the power to heal, and if these songs help someone through a tough time, that means everything to me. That’s what this album is all about.”

At Scantlin’s arrest in Torrance, California in March, TMZ reported that police noted visible marks on the woman’s arms, which led to Scantlin’s arrest. While searching the apartment, officers also reportedly discovered a small amount of a controlled substance in his possession.

Last year, Scantlin was reportedly arrested and pepper sprayed following a police stand-off. The musician was previously arrested in 2017 for allegedly attempting to board a plane with a gun.

In other Wes Scantlin-related news, he claimed he was “roofied” by his ex-bandmate before a disastrous gig earlier this year. According to Loudwire, gig attendees reported several issues with the show, from sound to Scantlin’s general stage presence – which was allegedly shaky as he was stumbling and rambling.
