Post Malone postpones London Tottenham stadium shows due to Tube strikes

Post Malone has been forced to postpone his two shows at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium due to Tube strikes.

The musician had been scheduled to play at the outdoor stadium on Sunday and Monday (September 7 and 8), but promoters Live Nation have said they would not be able to approve the event without sufficient public transport.

The shows have now been moved to September 20 and 21, with ticketholders informed that refunds will be available at the point of purchase to those who cannot make the rescheduled dates.

The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers have confirmed that members who work on the London Underground system will strike from Sunday evening (September 7) until Friday morning (September 12) over pay and working conditions.

Writing on Instagram, Live Nation have said: “Without a Tube service, it’s impossible to get people to the concert and home again safely, and therefore no event licence can be granted for the nights of 7th and 8th September.”

Any returned tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Tuesday (September 9) here.

Last week, Coldplay were also forced to reschedule their final two shows of their 10-night residency at Wembley Stadium due to the industrial action.

Post Malone’s Tottenham dates are part of the European leg of his BIG ASS stadium world tour, with Jelly Roll set to open for him at both shows. He is scheduled to play in Hanover, Germany on Friday (September 5), with dates in the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal to come in the next week. See all dates here.

Elsewhere, Post Malone went viral in July after he fell off stage while toasting a fan at a show in Glendale, Arizona.

Malone’s most recent album was 2024’s country-inflected ‘F-1 Trillion’, which included the hits ‘Pour Me A Drink’ and ‘I Had Some Help.
