P!nk Returning to ‘Kelly Clarkson Show’ as Guest Host

From Kellyoke to P!nkyoke? The Kelly Clarkson Show announced Monday (Feb. 9) that P!nk will guest-host the daytime talk show for a week next month.

“P!NK will guest host The Kelly Clarkson Show for a special week of episodes beginning March 2!” the show’s social accounts shared, alongside a picture of the pop-star peers sharing the Kelly Clarkson Show stage in January 2023.

The guest-hosting news follows Clarkson’s announcement earlier this month that she’ll end her Emmy-winning daytime talk show at the end of this season after seven years on the air.

“This season will be my last hosting TKCS,” her Feb. 2 Instagram statement read in part. “Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives. This isn’t goodbye. I’ll still be making music, playing shows here and there, and you may catch me on The Voice from time to time…you never know where I might show up next. But for now, I want to thank y’all so much for allowing our show to be a part of your lives, and for believing in us and hanging with us for seven incredible years.”

During P!nk’s most recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2023, she and Clarkson sat on stools and, backed by onlyh an acoustic guitar, performed a medley of five P!nk songs, with Clarkson singing harmony: “Who Knew,” “Please Don’t Leave Me,” “What About Us,” “What I Know So Far” and “Trustfall.”

The duo have performed together a few other times over the years, including when Clarkson presented P!nk with the iHeartRadio Icon Award at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards and when they paid tribute to first responders by covering R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts” together at the 2017 American Music Awards.
