The donation will come from a portion of the proceeds from her Guts world tour
As Oliva Rodrigo’s Guts world tour heads towards its end, the rock star will donate $2 million from its ticket sales to 10 nonprofits supporting women and girls around the world.
The money will be distributed through Rodrigo’s Fund 4 Good (a play on her hit “Good 4 U”), a philanthropic effort she launched as she kicked off the tour in February. According to a press release, the 10 recipients are: National Network of Abortion Funds (United States); Women’s Shelters Canada; Women Against Violence Europe; The Pratthanadee Foundation (Thailand); Korea Foundation For Women; Harmony House Limited (Hong Kong); NPO Women’s Saya-Saya (Japan); Aidha (Singapore); Jhpiego (the Philippines) and Wesnet (Australia). These organizations work to support girls’ education, defend reproductive rights, and prevent gender-based violence.
In October, the Guts World Tour hit the Philippines, in Rodrigo’s first visit to the country where her paternal family is from. There, she donated all net ticket proceeds from the sold-out show at the world’s largest indoor arena to Jhpiego, an agency supporting adolescent and youth health, family planning and reproductive health, gender equity, and women’s cancers since 1980.

As her trek began, Rodrigo and Fund 4 Good announced that they would direct a portion of all ticket proceeds from North American stops of the Guts tour to the National Network of Abortion Funds, or NNAF. Local abortion rights groups affiliated with NNAF had an in-arena presence at the stops, setting up tents to interact with fans. At some U.S. stops, the groups handed out free condoms and emergency contraceptive pills until March, when Guts’ St. Louis stop made news as the giveaway contended with Missouri’s near-total abortion ban and state legislators’ attempts to make access to the morning-after pill illegal. Variety reported that Rodrigo’s management then requested future abortion rights groups refrain from handing out emergency contraceptives at the upcoming shows, citing the presence of children.
Rodrigo’s support of reproductive freedom dates back to 2022, when she lambasted the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade during her set at England’s Glastonbury Festival. She dedicated a cover of Lily Allen’s “Fuck You” to five of the Justices responsible for the repeal — by name. “I’m devastated and terrified,” Rodrigo told the audience then. “So many women and so many girls are going to die because of this.”
