Olivia Rodrigo launches all-female Daisy Chain Fields festival with Chappell Roan, Bikini Kill, Doechii, Garbage and many more

Olivia Rodrigo has launched Daisy Chain Fields, a new all-female festival featuring Chappell Roan, Bikini Kill, Doechii, Garbage and more.

The single-day event will take place at Great Park in Irvine, California on August 29, bringing together a line-up of women and female-fronted artists across two stages, alongside non-profit and community-focused organisations.

Rodrigo will also perform at the festival, with the line-up also set to include Mitski, The Breeders, KATSEYE, Santigold, Rachel Chinouriri, Die Spitz, Eli, Not For Radio and Quiet Light.

Special guests Karen O, Sarah McLachlan and Stevie Nicks are also on the bill.

Rodrigo has said: “Truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all. i’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and i am so ecstatic its finally coming true!! Daisy Chain Fields features an all-women lineup and 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.”

“The lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. i firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that. I absolutely cannot wait to scream and dance and sing with you guys August 29th!!!!”

Tickets go on pre-sale on Wednesday (June 24) at 10am PT for fans who sign up for a passcode here.

Proceeds from the festival will go to non-profit organisations dedicated to supporting and advocating for women and girls, with partners including Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center For Reproductive Rights, FreeFrom, Johns Hopkins Center For Indigenous Health, National Women’s Law Center and Planned Parenthood. Find out more about the organisations here.

Daisy Chain Fields will also feature educational resources, community art experiences, local vendors, fan pop-ups and immersive installations, with a focus on reproductive rights, maternal health, economic empowerment, domestic violence prevention and gender equity.

Rodrigo released her third album ‘You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love’ earlier this month, and it provided the biggest opening week sales of her career, and the biggest solo debut of 2026.

She has talked about the female influences on the record, citing Alanis Morissette’s ‘Jagged Little Pill’, as well as the Riot Grrrl of Bikini Kill, as having made an impact on her writing. She is also a longtime fan of No Doubt and appeared at their final Las Vegas Sphere show this month.

NME gave the record four-and-a-half stars, writing: “This must be the most fully realised journey Rodrigo’s taken us on – an impressive feat, considering how quickly she had to rewrite songs here in light of her break-up. Here is a major popstar who is not afraid to get weirder and more wonderful, to give even more of themselves over in their art. ‘You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love’ is undeniable evidence of Rodrigo’s growth: as a songwriter, composer, and as a human being.”

The album was also included on NME’s list of the best albums of 2026 so far.

Rodrigo also recently joked about the lengths some fans go to in order to stay at the front of her shows, saying that she had “smelled” fans wearing diapers so they would not have to leave their spot.
