Her highly anticipated second album, ‘The Art of Loving’, went to Number One on the UK album charts yesterday (October 3), along with her single ‘Man I Need’, after being released last week. To celebrate, Dean has announced two more dates for her O2 residency in London, which has already sold out four dates.

Fans can access a presale upon ordering the record here before 5pm on Monday, October 6. The pre-sale begins at 10am on October 8, with general sale launching at the same time on October 10 here.

Speaking about her chart success, Dean said she was “very grateful and overwhelmed”, adding: “I love the album I made and I’m so proud of myself for making it. But ultimately, it is so joyful seeing how much it means to people and how it’s helping people understand love and loving.”

Her tour is set to kick off with two shows at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on April 22 and 23 before moving on to Manchester for two nights at Co-Op Live. After the London shows, she will head to Europe for a string of gigs, before concluding with two final shows at Fairview Park in Dublin.

Dean’s latest record scored a four-star review from NME, with Hannah Mylrea comparing her to musicians like RAYE and Sam Fender: “British artists who’ve ascended to bigger and bigger stages, crafting music that while sonically is in their own lanes, is filled with honest lyricism coming from a distinct voice.

“As Dean prepares for her own sold-out arena tours – and with her tracks soaring up the UK charts – this record comes to cement her place. With it, marks the next chapter in Dean’s career, one as a popstar risen.”

Ahead of the album’s release, Dean shared the lead single ‘Nice To Each Other’ back in June, and told fans it was about the push and pull of exploring your independence in dating.

“It’s about enjoying someone in the present and allowing it to be both light and meaningful,” she explained. “I think this song and video represents a playfulness in me that I’m excited for people to see.” Since then, she’s also released singles ‘Lady Lady’ and ‘Man I Need’.

‘The Art Of Loving’ is the follow-up to Dean’s 2023 debut album ‘Messy’. In a four-star review, NME described the album as “a light, nimble and fresh-faced collection of sprawling soul-pop tunes that illustrate the importance of perseverance amid personal upheaval”.

In other news, earlier this summer, Dean played a surprise set at Glastonbury and released the duet version of ‘Rein Me In’ with Sam Fender, after the two performed his ‘People Watching’ track during his huge London Stadium show.
