Oasis fans react to the rush to tickets to North American shows: “Most frustrating experience of my life”

Tickets for Oasis‘ reunion shows in North America went on sale today (October 4), and fans have been reacting to the race to get tickets to the newly announced dates in the continent.

Earlier this week, Liam and Noel Gallagher announced a string of shows across North America – marking the first international dates for their reunion tour. Shortly after, four new dates were added due to “phenomenal demand”.

The shows in the continent are set to take place in Los Angeles, New Jersey, Toronto and Mexico City. Visit here to buy any remaining tickets, and check out a full list of tour dates below.

Already, both shows at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium (slated for August 31 and September 1 2025) have sold out, and fans who missed out have taken to Twitter/X to vent. “Most frustrating experience of my life,” wrote one fan, adding that difficulty getting tickets had “Completely crushed my dream.”

Meanwhile, another shared their success in getting one of the highly sought-after tickets, writing that it took “blood, sweat and tears”. Check out more fan reactions below.

Elsewhere, some fans were reacting to the prices – which were significantly lower than some of those offered to UK fans as a result of Ticketmaster’s surge pricing. “I am truly shocked at how relatively normal the prices were,” wrote one fan on Twitter/X.

It follows the band’s recent confirmation that a dynamic pricing structure would not be applied to their North American reunion tour dates, after the disaster that struck fans while trying to purchase tickets for their UK and Ireland ‘OASIS LIVE ’25’ reunion tour.

Oasis had also pre-warned fans of fake re-sale tickets for the North American leg of the tour, after over 9,000 tickets surfaced on two of the largest resale platforms ahead of their official sale, despite the fact fans hadn’t been able to purchase legitimate tickets yet.

The ‘Wonderwall’ hitmakers took to their official X/Twitter account to alert fans that those tickets were not valid. “Please be aware. Thousands of fake Oasis tickets have already been discovered on Stubhub and Vivid Seats before the North America tour has even gone on sale! @TwicketsUS and @Ticketmaster Fan-to-Fan in the US and Canada are the only official resellers,” read their tweet.

A statement shared by StubHub North America read: “Tickets can appear on the secondary market prior to an on-sale event as many industry stakeholders, season ticket holders, sponsors, and professional resellers have access to tickets long before public sales begin.

“Ticket fraud is extremely uncommon on our regulated marketplace due to the measures we have in place. There is no incentive for anyone to attempt to sell a fraudulent ticket on StubHub – sellers will not be paid unless the buyer gets into the event successfully and can face consequences such as fines and removal from the platform.”

In other news, an exclusive source told NME that the Gallagher brothers are set to announce more reunion shows within the US and other international territories such as South Korea, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Chile and Argentina. The exact venues, dates and ticket sale details will be announced soon.

Liam and Noel have not performed together since Oasis’ acrimonious split in 2009, following an “altercation” between the pair at Paris’ Rock en Seine festival, just hours before their headline appearance.

After announcing their long-awaited reunion last month and going on to confirm that they will not be playing any festivals next year, the band started hinting to fans that other headline dates around the world were planned.
