Fish out the bucket hats and the Adidas-branded merch: Oasis is going back on tour in 2027.
The Gallagher brothers will be hitting up a number of key cities across the U.K., Ireland, mainland Europe and the U.S. next summer with a run of shows that kick off on May 21 in Glasgow. They’ll head to Manchester, Munich, Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Slane Castle in the Republic of Ireland, before stops in Boston, Massachusetts, and Las Vegas, Nevada. The run will culminate with a run of shows at Knebworth House in Stevenage, England, a return to the site of their legendary shows in 1996.
The shows follow 2025’s spectacular reunion tour, which saw the band play 41 shows worldwide and break into the U.S. after decades of trying. The songs experienced a major boost as the band’s back catalogue reached a new generation, with 1994’s Definitely Maybe and 1995’s (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? proving their timelessness. The latter is now the best-selling studio album of all time in the U.K., according to the Official Charts Company.
2025’s setlist leaned heavily on the first two albums, with a smattering of B-sides and cuts from 1997’s Be Here Now. It was the right approach given the 16-year wait and the nostalgic feel of the shows: the boys were back, so it was time for a party.
In 2027, there could be changes. Running it back with the same setlist – as fun as it would be – might not please those lucky enough to secure tickets via the ballot. The recent documentary film Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger could offer hints about which songs might enter or leave the set. A new album also cannot be ruled out…
As the clamor for tickets begins, these are the changes we could see in the new setlist.

In: “Columbia”
This was potentially the biggest omission from the Live ’25 setlist. The Definitely Maybe track is a firm fan favorite and served as the opening song during their sets at Knebworth in 1996. Fans reported hearing the song soundchecked during the Live ‘25 tour, and Don’t Look Back in Anger shows the band rehearsing it before the shows. Although it ultimately didn’t make the cut, there is a good chance it could join the rotation this time.

Out: “Fade Away”
There were no duds at the Live ‘25 shows; how could there be? Wall-to-wall bangers and an unmatchable atmosphere for 41 nights. “Fade Away,” though, was the one moment where crowd attention started to drift a little bit. That’s nothing against the song, which touches on the band’s working-class upbringing in Manchester, but if it were to get the boot, a mass uproar feels unlikely.

In: “Lyla”
No tracks from Oasis’ final two albums, Don’t Believe the Truth (2005) and Dig Out Your Soul (2008), were played during the Live ’25 sets. This came as little surprise: while both LPs performed well commercially, their overall impact was shorter-lived. “Lyla” was the band’s final U.K. No. 1 single, however, and its chugging guitar riff regularly inspired rowdy crowds (see this bouncing performance at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester). With Liam’s stronger, refreshed vocals, it could deliver a solid melodic moment and go down a storm.

Out: “Talk Tonight”
Of the Noel-led ballads on Live ’25, this was the track where most fans took the risk to sprint to the bar. It remains a fantastic song that details Noel’s lost weekend in 1994 following a disastrous show in L.A. when he temporarily quit the band. Amidst the chaos, he found solace with Melissa Lim, a friend he had met on a previous tour whose encouragement inspired one of his most personal songs. Still, there is room for a setlist switch-up here, and we have a strong idea of what might replace it…

In: “The Importance of Being Idle”
If a Noel-led song is removed, another will likely take its place. “The Importance of Being Idle” was the band’s eighth and final U.K. No. 1 single, and the last track widely adopted as a latter-day Oasis anthem. Given that it remained a staple in Noel’s solo setlists for over a decade, consider this addition a strong possibility.

Out: “Bring it on Down”
The Definitely Maybe track sounded gloriously punchy during Live ’25 as drummer Joey Waronker brought a heavy energy to the tubs. It provided a ferocious return to their raw rock ‘n’ roll origins. However, it is not entirely essential to the core setlist and likely would not be missed too much if dropped.

In: “Stop Crying Your Heart Out”
Live ’25’s biggest setlist surprise was “Little By Little,” the only track from the band’s 2000s catalog (from fifth LP Heathen Chemistry) to secure a slot; the song resonated so well that it was officially released as a live single during the tour. “Stop Crying Your Heart Out” could earn similar acclaim and it occupies a similar mid-tempo ballad pace but with Liam on lead vocals instead. The song reached No. 2 on the U.K. charts and would sound epic in the band’s current live setup.

In: “She’s Electric”
“She’s Electric” tends to divide opinion: critics claim it is overly simplistic and lacks emotional weight, while some fans feel it highlights the band’s cheeky humor (“she’s got one in the oven, but it’s nothing to do with me”). Now that the emotional intensity of the initial reunion shows has settled, there may be room for a bit of levity. It remains a long shot, however, given the band dropped it from their setlist back in 2002.

In: “Listen Up”
The band last performed this “Cigarettes & Alcohol” B-side in 1996, but the Gallagher brothers clearly retain an affinity for it: The track opens their Masterplan compilation, and both Noel and Liam performed it live during their solo careers. It also plays over the end credits of Don’t Look Back in Anger, hinting at ongoing affection for the song. Could it be time to bring it back into the fold?
