Neko Case to Embark on Extensive North American Tour This Fall

On the heels of a new memoir and ahead of a new album, Neko Case has announced an extensive fall tour.

The singer-songwriter and New Pornographers co-founder will kick off the North American trek on Oct. 1 at Woodstock, New York’s Levon Helm Studios and remain out on the road through a Nov. 25 gig at Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas.

Des Demonas and John Grant will serve as the supporting acts on select dates throughout the tour.

Earlier this year, Case released her first memoir The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You, a nod to her 2013 album, The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You.

“It was at the height of the pandemic, and as most musicians, I was really broke and kind of desperate, and I got an offer from [publisher] Grand Central,” Case admitted to Rolling Stone about her initial reluctance to write the book. “I wasn’t really into writing a memoir, but they were like, ‘Well, that’s what we’re gonna pay you to do.’ And I said, ‘Well, all right.’”

Case’s last studio album Hell-On arrived in June 2018.
