The band are currently out on their 2025 North American ‘Long Live The Black Parade’ stadium tour, which kicked off last month after selling out within hours. Following this trek, Gerard Way and co. will visit South America and Asia next year.

Two massive concerts in Mexico City, dubbed ‘The Black Parade – Alive!’, are scheduled for February 2026.

Today (August 8), MCR shared a new video suggesting that a return to the UK could also be on the cards. The clip depicts an old-school TV game show, Quizzo.

“Our two fine contestants will help us learn who will be the next lucky country to win the grand prize of one nuclear winter,” the host tells viewers. “Congratulations, United Kingdom!” he reveals later, after a player pushes a big button.

Fans in the comments section are speculating that ‘…Black Parade’ dates are about to be shared for the UK. However, no further information has been announced at the time of writing.

Check out the teaser in the post below.

My Chemical Romance last performed on these shores as part of their reunion tour in 2022. Dates took place in Milton Keynes, Cornwall, Dublin, Warrington, Cardiff and Glasgow.

The group are playing their 2006 third album ‘The Black Parade’ in full at their current shows, along with rarities from that era and some hits. At a recent gig in LA, MCR debuted an unreleased song titled ‘War Beneath The Rain’.

They’ve also treated the crowd to a surprise cover of The Smashing Pumpkins’ 1995 track ‘Bullet With Butterfly Wings’.

Each show on the tour features a different hand-selected artist as support, including Violent Femmes, 100 Gecs, Wallows, Garbage, Death Cab For Cutie and Thursday, Alice Cooper, Pixies, Devo, IDLES and Evanescence.

In June, MCR released a deluxe 21st anniversary reissue of their classic second album, 2004’s ‘Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge’.

NME gave My Chemical Romance’s 2022 stop at Cornwall’s Eden Project a glowing five-star review, writing: “Tonight’s show is fearless, loose and raw. It genuinely feels like anything could happen, as My Chemical Romance channel punk rebellion and playful ambition. ‘This has been special and amazing,’ says Way, taking the words right out of our mouths.”

That same year, the band shared their first new single in eight years, ‘The Foundations Of Decay’. Despite much speculation about further new material, MCR are yet to follow up on their fourth album ‘Danger Days’ (2010).
