Today (July 7), the iconic band have announced their return to Asia in over a decade, and the first time since their 2019 reunion. My Chemical Romance had previously announced an Asia tour but were forced to cancel it due to restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2026 tour will see them perform in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and South Korea and more.

My Chemical Romance’s 2026 Asia tour dates are:

APRIL
18 – Paradise City Culture Park – Incheon, South Korea
22 – Impact Challenger Hall – Bangkok, Thailand
25 – Philippine Arena – Bulacan, Philippines
28 – Singapore Indoor Stadium – Singapore
30 – National Stadium Bukit Jalil – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

MAY
03 – Hammersonic Festival – Jakarta, Indoneisa

Tickets to the Singapore date will go live on Friday (July 11) at 10am local time – you can get your tickets here. More ticketing details will be made available soon.

Ahead of the Asia tour, My Chemical Romance will tour South America, including a massive show in Mexico, dubbed ‘The Black Parade – Alive!’ – referencing their legendary final ‘Black Parade’ show in 2007 in Mexico City, that was later released as their now-classic live album and DVD ‘The Black Parade is Dead!’. For those 2007 shows, My Chemical Romance performed under their alter-ego’s name, The Black Parade.

In June, My Chemical Romance released a deluxe edition of their classic ‘Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge’ album to celebrate its 21st anniversary. It arrived on June 6 – 21 years to the day since it was first shared. Alongside the original tracklisting, the collection also featured four bonus tracks. These were all recorded back in 2005 for the BBC, and include previously unreleased live versions of ‘I’m Not Okay (I Promise)’, ‘Helena’, and ‘The Ghost Of You’.

At the end of 2024, the band shared a tribute to their former bandmate Bob Bryar, who was found dead in his home at age 44. “It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Bob Bryar, our former bandmate and an important part of the history of My Chemical Romance,” they wrote. “We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family at this time. May he rest in peace.”

Bryar was My Chemical Romance’s longest-tenured drummer, performing with the band from 2004 until his departure in 2010.

The band’s most recent material was 2022’s ‘The Foundations of Decay’ – a surprise single that marked their first new release in eight years, with their last full-length album being 2010’s ‘Danger Days’.
