Muse announce ‘The Wow! Signal’ 2027 European arena tour

Muse will return to Europe in 2027 for another headline arena tour, it has been announced. Find all the details below.

The Devon trio are already set to hit the road in the UK and Europe later this year in support of their 10th album, ‘The Wow! Signal’, which arrived in June. Support on this leg will come from Boston rock outfit Dead Poet Society.

Today (Friday October 2), Matt Bellamy and co. have confirmed a further eight European concerts for early next year. These will take place in Lisbon (January 10), Bordeaux (January 12, 13), Lyon (January 16, 17), Madrid (19, 20) and Valencia (January 23).

Tickets go on general sale at 9am local time next Thursday (October 8) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale at the same time on Tuesday (October 6) by registering here.

Muse’s 2027 European headline tour dates are:

JANUARY
10 – MEO Arena, Lisbon, Portugal
12 – Arkéa Arena, Bordeaux, France
13 – Arkéa Arena, Bordeaux, France
16 – LDLC Arena, Lyon, France
17 – LDLC Arena, Lyon, France
19 – Movistar Arena, Madrid, Spain
20 – Movistar Arena, Madrid, Spain
23 – Roig Arena, Valencia, Spain

Muse’s forthcoming UK leg includes two shows at Manchester’s Co-op Live on November 12 and 13, and a pair of gigs at The O2 in London on November 15 and 16.

The band recently wrapped up their North American 2026 tour. Speaking to NME this summer, frontman Bellamy shared the trio’s ambitious plans for this year’s UK and European dates.

“We’re trying to build a spaceship – as you do,” he told us. “The quote came in and it’s more expensive than some of these houses [in Primrose Hill], and that’s saying something around here.”

He added: “We’re trying to work with that, build a spaceship, do some new stuff with lasers that’s never been done before, and yeah, it will be a classic. It’s going to be more in the space, sci-fi realm, which I think is cool for us.

“I don’t think it will [fly]. That’s the thing that costs more than a house, but it will be something cool, I promise.”

NME gave ‘The Wow! Signal’ a four-star review, calling it Muse’s “best album in 20 years”. The group launched their current era with an intimate show at Brixton Academy this spring, marking their first performance at the venue since 2001.

Meanwhile, Muse have been forced to change their social media handles to make way for Meta’s new AI tool. Bellamy has since responded to the situation, saying that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg had sent him “the beta version of the AI” ahead of its launch.
