Ms. Rachel Announces First-Ever Album ‘I’m So Happy’

The album is the first full-length release from Rachel and Aron Accurso, the married co-creators of the Ms. Rachel series, and features 23 newly produced versions of songs from the show. The collection pairs original tracks including “I’m So Happy” and “Big Feelings” with reimagined arrangements of children’s classics such as “Hop Little Bunnies” and “Icky Sticky Bubblegum.”

The lead single, “I Love a Rainbow,” is out now. A bossa nova number celebrating colors, the track showcases the research-based, musically detailed approach that has made Ms. Rachel a fixture in millions of households.

The full album spans 23 tracks, closing with songs including “Counting to 20!,” “B-I-N-G-O,” “Big Feelings,” “Together” and “I Love You to the Moon.”

Rachel Accurso, born Rachel Griffin, created the series in 2019 after her young son experienced a speech delay and she struggled to find content designed to support early language development. A former preschool music teacher, she built the videos around expert-informed strategies — repetition, “parentese” and interactive prompts — intended to help toddlers reach key developmental milestones.

The album is the latest expansion of a franchise that has grown well beyond YouTube. In early 2025, Ms. Rachel launched on Netflix and became what the streamer reported as its most-watched season of children’s programming, while the brand has also moved into licensed toys and live family shows.

Rachel and Aron Accurso bring complementary backgrounds to the project: Rachel holds dual master’s degrees in early childhood education and music education, while Aron holds a degree in music composition and has worked as a Broadway composer, conductor and music director. The series has received two Children’s & Family Emmy Award nominations, including one for the couple’s writing.

Magic Star, launched in 2019, distributes and develops audio and audiovisual content for children as part of The Orchard.
