Morrissey has seemingly quietly cancelled his South American tour.

According to ticketing sites and concert promoters for the South American leg of the former Smiths frontman’s ‘Nude’ world tour, all dates for November have been cancelled, citing the singer’s “extreme exhaustion”.

Morrissey has yet to officially announce the cancellations through his website or social media accounts.

The latest cancellations come just days after Morrissey axed two shows in Mexico for the same reason. Following those cancellations, he shared a simple update on his website, writing “I know it’s gonna happen someday” alongside several emojis of the Mexican flag.

The newly cancelled dates would’ve seen Morrissey bring his tour to Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Santiago, Lime and Bogota between November 8 and November 22.

Argentinian concert venue Movistar Arena shared the following statement: “We inform the public that, due to extreme exhaustion of the artist, Morrissey’s tour of Latin America will not take place, including the show scheduled for November 8th at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires.”

As of the time of writing, Morrissey’s singular show in Greece in December and his US dates in January 2026 remain intact.

These are far from the first Morrissey shows to be cancelled or postponed in recent months – in April, he called off two US shows after being hospitalised with “a severe sinusitis attack”, while a show in Stockholm in June was cancelled after the singer said his band were “travel-weary beyond belief” and had received “zero music industry support”.

In September, two more gigs in the US were called off after a “credible threat” was made on Morrissey’s life on Bluesky, while last month, two gigs in Turkey were cancelled, with fans speculating that they were scrapped due to the singer’s apparent support of Israel.

Morrissey recently announced his sole UK gig for 2026, to take place at The O2 in London on February 28 – find any remaining tickets for that show here.
