Mogwai announce 2026 UK tour

Mogwai have announced details of a new tour, which will see them head across the UK next year. Check out the details below.

The new run of shows includes 13 new dates, and will see the Scottish band perform across the UK throughout February 2026. The trek kicks off with an opening night at Paisley Town Hall on February 12, and continues over the next three nights with stops at Aberdeen’s Music Hall, Birmingham’s O2 Academy, and Nottingham’s Rock City.

Other new shows include shows in Cardiff, Exeter, Brighton, Portsmouth, Bristol, Norwich, and Cambridge throughout the month, before dates wrap up with a penultimate stop at Gateshead’s Glasshouse International Centre for Music on February 26, and Manchester’s O2 Apollo on the 27th.

At the shows, Mogwai will be performing tracks from across their three-decade-long discography, including songs from their 11th and latest studio album ‘The Bad Fire’, which arrived earlier this year.

The latest album from the Glasgow band marked their 11th studio album, and was previewed by the intriguing single ‘Fanzine Made Of Flesh’. The record came as a follow-up to 2021’s ‘As The Love Continues’, and was also previewed by singles ‘God Gets You Back’ and ‘Lion Rumpus’.

Earlier this year, the band performed alongside Lankum at South Facing festival in London, and wrapped up their planned tour dates for North America, which took place across April and May. They are currently on their European leg of the shows.
