Modest Mouse announce inaugural cruise festival featuring Kurt Vile, Mannequin Pussy and more

Modest Mouse have announced their very own cruise festival, Ice Cream Floats – check out the line-up, dates and ticketing information below.

Last night (April 3), the band took to social media to announce Ice Cream Floats, the debut edition of their cruise festival, which is due to set sail in February next year. The three-day cruise will take place between February 5 and 9, and will charter between Miami and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

Modest Mouse will be headlining three nights of the festival, while other acts include Portugal. The Man, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Mannequin Pussy and more.

Tickets to Modest Mouse’s Ice Cream Floats can be purchased here – pre-sales are now live, with public sales beginning on April 22. The first 400 cabins reserved for the cruise will receive an onboard photo with Modest Mouse.

Among the curated experiences planned for the cruise are special sets from Modest Mouse, including un-billed DJ sets, storytime with Modest Mouse’s Isaac Brock, Mouse Stardust Theater 300 – which will feature the band delivering “brutally honest commentary alongside truly unique films” – a Ask Modest Mouse Anything Q&A session, a parade and more to be announced. The cruise’s facilities can also be utilised, including its spa, pools and more.

Modest Mouse are due to spend a big chunk of 2025 touring, having announced a slew of North American headline shows between June and July, followed by a co-headlining tour with The Flaming Lips in August and September, also across North America.
