Maribou State, De La Soul, Orbital lead stacked Snowbombing 2026 line-up

Maribou State, De La Soul and Orbital are among the leading names announced for the 2026 Snowbombing Festival in Austria.

The first wave of names for next year’s instalment of ‘The Home of the Ski Festival’ have been shared today (October 21), with the event set to return to Mayrhofen, Austria from April 6 to 11.

Taking place among the ski slopes, it will feature a headline live set from Maribou State, the Hertfordshire electronic duo that released their third album ‘Hallucinating Love’ earlier this year.

Also playing will be hip-hop legends De La Soul, electronic pioneers Orbital and 2-step veteran MJ Cole, as well as 4am Kru, Hot 8 Brass Band, Hybrid Minds, Sub Focus, Folamour, Interplanetary Criminal and Fish56Octagon.

Tickets and travel packages are on sale now and you can find yours here.

Snowbombing was established in 1999, and as with previous editions, the 2026 festival will also play host to a range of wellness and adventure activities both on and off the slopes, including Mountaintop Brunch, Bongo’s Bingo, Chairlift Speed-Dating and Mountaintop Yoga.

Maribou State, who will also be headlining London’s LIDO Festival next June, received a four-star review from NME for ‘Hallucinating Love’ scored a four-star review in January, which noted: “While the overarching sound feels like a safe but natural step forward from its predecessor, ‘Hallucinating Love’ shines in its short-lived instrumental breaks, be it the spiritual piano and cello in ‘Passing Clouds’ or the John Frusciante-esque guitar solo in closer ‘Rolling Stone’. Already certified masters of their craft, ‘Hallucinating Love’ cherry-picks fresh blooms and euphoric alt-pop melodies to enhance what we already know and love about Maribou State.”

De La Soul, meanwhile, spoke to NME earlier this year about the 20th anniversary of their classic ‘The Grind Date’, as well as their unreleased Mac Miller collaboration and mourning Trugoy The Dove.

As for Orbital, they joined forces with Confidence Man for the dancefloor-ready ‘Re-Lush’ in May, and re-released their classic ‘Brown Album’ that same month. They also teamed up with Tilda Swinton for the single ‘Deepest’ earlier this year.

This year, Snowbombing was headlined by The Prodigy, Armand Van Helden and Nia Archives, while in 2023 it saw performances from Jamie xx, Groove Armada and Andy C.
